PSA: 2nd stage of Leyte Gulf now available (NA)

See title...

All last week and this week it was showing me that the 2nd stage was not available until the 17th.  On a whim I looked this morning and stage 2 was unlocked and available for me (NA).

Might be something where WG buggered it and the 17th was for EU and Asia? Either way stage 2 is now available on NA.

EDIT - I just looked again and noticed it says the next stage will be available on the 24th. That is next Thursday. So looks like the wording is based on EU/Asia timeframes and NA comes in on Wednesday just like with updates.

We’ve been getting event/news articles on Thursdays on NA for quite some time as well for events that start on Wednesdays. The only articles that arrive on time are the update news/patch notes (but those usually drop a few days early anyways) and those for mid-patch events that drop globally on Fridays. Getting and communicating accurate information to the NA server in a timely manner doesn’t seem to be a priority anymore.

For those of you who do not see the second set of missions (like me).

1.  Go the the Wows website and click on this news article.

2.  Click on the "Start Adventure" button.

3.  Click on the blue crossed swords icon in the center of the map.

I don't know why I had to "re-participate" after having done so for the first set of mission, but there you are.

You will have to go to that Campaign screen each week to select and activate the mission chain.

On the bright side, the missions are pretty simple and easily finished within a couple of days.   So even though you may have lost some time, you still have plenty of time before the next set can be unlocked.

Not even, you could finish these in a few hours tops in ops. and according to WG the missions are supposed to get harder. . . when exactly? Cause if WG considers these missions getting more difficult, that certainly says something about the skill level of WG staff.

Where did they say that?

They didn't say that. The missions are not getting harder so far, BXP requirements are higher, but no unreliable spotting DMG mission is a plus.

I expect the mission to get harder at 4th and 5th stages. But likely not more difficult than 15k-20k BXP or so. Lets not forget we have 7 week for 5 sets of missions if we are only looking for Tennessee, so plenty of time

Is it really seven weeks and not five? I may have been more concerned than was really necessary.

Do I recall correctly that the Enterprise mission starts earlier than week 5?

The “hard” mission chain for Enterprise drops next week:

There also was a revision to the mission requirements since it was first posted. I’m genuinely uncertain if the initial requirements were indeed misstated or if WG got such negative feedback on Discord that they changed it.

In a Devblog article about the event WG specifically said getting Tennessee free wouldn’t be easy implying the tasks would be hard. So far it’s been easy enough but I expect the final weeks to be more difficult.

7 weeks (49 days). Even mission tab says that. 40 days still left

Can anyone from NA list the 4th set of event missions?

4.5k bxp
9 def or cap ribbons*
2.7m credits
500 main battery hits
6m potential damage

All missions allow coop, randoms, ranked, and brawl. Mission marked with * is not valid for ops, all other missions allow it. None can be completed in the special Star Trek mode.

To be more precise, there are simply no caps in ops to defend or take.

That is not a bad set of missions, even for co-op (which is where the six million potential damage is probably best accrued).

Brawls have the possibility for accruing cap defences super-quick.

This is so weird, because on my lazier EU account the first batch of missions can be done in star trek mode. Not sure on the others, but weird that the ones of the same week can't be at all.

And now they show as doable in Borg Mode.

You can still do it in the Star Trek operation, which makes it even more trivial.

B-but a CM assured me that clubbing a bot at T5 in the PvP only mission was difficult!

But yeah, all these missions have been really easy so far. Kinda makes me wonder how stupid the last mission chain we can't see yet is going to be.
