ALMTE OQUENDO Surprisingly Good AA, Well Against BOTS Anyway

OK I know there was a rather long thread on the ship and things have moved on but I was taken by surprise at the AA on the ship granted as mentioned it was against BOT CV's and its a Tier 9 so it should have some quality but I was not expecting the firepower.

Now maybe I am giving the ship to much credit I have seen in other Coop match Cruisers rip through airstrikes, but these ships were not dock yard ships.

Also I doubt I will ever play the ship in random which may expose its AA as useless against actual CV players.

But I have to say that so far its AA has impressed me.

Why not playing her in randoms?! She is actually a good heavy cruiser without serious flaws IMHO. Nothing groundbreaking though, but a serious representative of her kind.

One thing to consider is that Bot CVs have generally weak planes in Co-op, save for rocket planes that can sometimes score good hits on DDs. 

When it comes to Operations such as Hermes, they can be strong.

Bot CV's are also dumb as a rock, playing ''Gotta Catch Them All'' with Flak

near perfect rocket aim, and AP Dive Bombers are potential threat as well sure, but they do no evading of Flak, no flight route optimization or anything that would helo torpedo bombers land their hits.

I duno, this looks horrific.   7th from the bottom among tier 9 cruisers... with no range.

Referring to AA - range? That's only one parameter among (many) others. Most ships have AA that is hardly deserving the name.
