Expedition to the north just glitched and allowed double rewards

The entire first stage reset and I was able to do it again, so now I have 5000 points instead of 2500.

I would recommend you check your daily missions and see if you can grind it before they patch the issue, as

the final stage points are pretty difficult; now you only need to do stage 1 (twice) and stage 2 vs having to do all 3.

Again!???

Hahahahah

I had this last December when I had Napoli & Napoli B duplicate compensation mission going

Actually it was four stages of missions and the first one simply disappeared while the second one opened up. So the actual deal is you only need to get 2500 from the last mission if you've not been missing any missions. But as long as you've done at least one set of missions other than the final set you can reach full points... assuming you grind like crazy at the end.

No reset here 😞

If they are giving santa container as a reward, is that santa container from the last year or the new ones

Since the last stage doesn't become available for a month and 20 days, I would venture that would put us squarely in 2024 Santa container territory.

I have completed both available stages and have 5,000 of 10,000, as well.  So, it appears 5,000 is as high as you can currently get until the next stage opens 23 days from now.  I have completed two stages, but it appears Stage 1 disappeared from the mission list once Stage 2 opened (perhaps only because I already completed it?).  Stage 2 is still showing as a completed mission set.  We shall see if it also disappears from my mission list once Stage 3 becomes available.

I don't think @Subtle_Octavian benefited from a glitch.

Yes, I remember there were four (4) stages...

I do have 5,000 points now. I haven't been paying attention it though, hence I was a bit surprised when I saw this thread.

Anyways, thanks for the clarification, and thanks also @Subtle_Octavian for the heads up.

I also have 5k out of 10k, I dont think it is a glitch, seems legit. It seems you can only get 10 k max.

"In Updates 13.8–13.9, you can receive a maximum of 2500  Expedition Tokens each, while Update 13.10 can earn you up to 5000 Tokens"

" If you’re late to the Expedition, the last mission chain, available when Update 13.11 releases, will still allow you to earn 7500 Tokens Expedition Tokens and get most of the rewards. However, you’ll only have a couple of days to complete it before the end of the event. "

10k is the max. We are half way done with 5k points, which is half. I don't see the problem.

There was no reset. 5000 is how much you should have after doing stage 1 (2500pts - last update) and stage 2 (2500pts - this update). If stage 1 reset and let you do it again you would have 7500pts now.

The 3rd stage comes in the next update (0.13.10) and will give 5000pts. The final stage (4) comes in 0.13.11 and will give 7500 tokens (but it is a shorter time to do it vs the other 3 that were the entire update).

Note - it appears that with the change to the new update the previous stage info under combat missions goes away. Stage 1 no longer shows. Maybe you are thinking what is shown there is stage 1 and we did it again. Not the case. What is showing now is stage 2 (this update's stage), stage 3, and stage 4. Stage 1, from last update, has been removed.

I wonder how many people who complete the first three stages and max out their points will stress out of their minds over the fourth stage, not realizing it's superfluous to them.

How many do we actually need? I don't remember seeing that announced.

You "should" only need to do stages 1-3. That gives 10,000 tokens total (2500/2500/5000) which is supposedly all we can use/gets all rewards. Stage 4 gives 7500 but supposedly is only there for those who missed the 1st 3 stages to get enough tokens to get stuff (and it will only be available for a few days vs the entire update like 1-3).  It seems like an odd setup so I am wondering if all those extra tokens from stage 4 will not be useable if you do 1-3 and then it anyway or if we actually can use them on something?

In Updates 13.8–13.9, you can receive a maximum of 2,500 Expedition Tokens each, while Update 13.10 can earn you up to 5,000 Tokens. You’ll have a few weeks to complete each of these mission chains, and they are easy. Completing all 3 will already guarantee you all the milestone rewards in the event. If you’re late to the Expedition, the last mission chain, available when Update 13.11 releases, will still allow you to earn 7,500 Expedition Tokens and get most of the rewards. However, you’ll only have a couple of days to complete it before the end of the event.

It makes sense when one considers that Stage 4 will line up with the Christmas/NY patch, which is a big event that always sees high player counts each year. Stage 4 is specifically aimed at casual players and those returning for the NY event.

It's in the Armory UI. Ten thousand, or exactly as much as the first three missions give you: https://armory.worldofwarships.com/en/category/roadtony/
