Ensign Cthulhu Posted October 6 Posted October 6 Streamed a little late this weekend because I had to spend all day at work on Saturday. On Sunday, taking kids to this and that activity ate up a lot of time, and when all was said and done I was too tired to do much. Did my daily grind quotas. Satisfyingly well ahead of schedule on most of my ships, and not behind schedule on any of them. Saturday evening I dug out an older game called European War 4, a product of a Chinese company called EasyTech. EW4 would be the perfect game if you could save and move your progress between platforms. As it is, I have one iteration on my tablet which has tended to glitch out and erase progress from time to time, especially if said tablet runs low on power, and a second iteration on my WOWS PC, which has proved to be more stable. I made major progress on the second iteration this weekend, as a practice run for a mission I will have to do on the first (albeit with more resources, so it should work out better). 2
Aethervox Posted October 7 Posted October 7 (edited) For me, it was Naval Battles on EU account. My clan won this time 82 -52. I did all 11 NBs - got 8 stars (the 300 exp *s) where I find one can get these using lower tier ships (even T2s). Wins & Losses were equal - some battles you'd have good team mates, others not so many. 17 hours ago, Ensign Cthulhu said: an older game called European War 4 I, sometimes, play Steel Panthers WW2. an old (now) 2D game. It is excellent & one can play it for free. You can play a very small point scenario or one with thousands of points. Play any nation (offered) from 1930 - 1947?. Want to try Ger, UK or US vs USSR (for example) in 1939? You can. Random maps too (unlike the same old sandbox every time). Many pre-made historical scenarios, as well. Play vs Computer (or a human opponent, at your own risk). This game even has boats (small ones but boats nevertheless). Edited October 7 by Aethervox 2
Wolfswetpaws Posted October 7 Posted October 7 (edited) I was able to watch a portion of @Ensign Cthulhu's Twitch stream, this weekend. Participated in Naval Battles. Scored 19 stars with 17 attempts. Recently set a new personal record for ships sunk during a battle (8 ships). Mowed the lawn. Posted in various Forum topics. Watched the movie "Godzilla Minus One" and wrote about it in another topic. https://www.devstrike.net/topic/5009-the-movie-thread/?do=findComment&comment=77132 Baby-sat our Ferrets. Played enough to be finished all the missions/tasks available to me. Finished watching the anime series "Castlevania" on Netflix. Started watching Castevania-Nocturne. Gnirf Posted October 7 Posted October 7 Made Sunday steak (11 portions) partly for freezer and future workdays. Watched my football team win. Studying opponents discussion forms for maximum pleasure. Whining fans from opposite side is a guilty pleasure. Finished German Z 52 T10 regrind, 1st round (should be 1 reset again so T10 not bought) and are 135/240 T9 in the Elbing line. Played almost only Operations some are good some bad. 1

I saw it with my brother-in-law when it came out in theaters, and even went back for the black-and-white showing a couple months later. Still waiting for my wife to watch it with me on streaming. So watched “Mothra vs Godzilla” this weekend instead. Edited October 7 by Mono_De_Mantequilla 2

Black-and-white shows don't bother me at all because that's what I grew up watching as we only had a black-and-white TV. In fact, I was still using a black-and-white TV into the 80s after I'd been discharged from the Army and was in college. I'd bought a color TV but my brother had just gotten married and needed a TV, so I gave it to him and used a battery-powered portable black-and-white TV that Dad had bought to watch when he went to the '84 Olympics. I don't think that I even bought a color monitor for a computer until sometime in the 90s. I mostly dream in mostly black-and-white too, with occasionally one color appearing to highlight a certain object, like a bunch of red flowers. I guess my brain just doesn't have the processing power for a full-color display. Edited October 7 by Snargfargle 1

Utt_Bugglier Posted October 7 Posted October 7 Three battles in Wisconsin Sunday night. Went 2 for 3. Averaged 108k damage. My “month of September” workload extended on to this past Saturday. Could hardly stay awake even for those three battles yesterday. 1
