thornzero Posted October 2 Posted October 2 It's not incorrect language. It's 'removed' -x- amount of cexp and or free xp.

thornzero Posted October 2 Posted October 2 I guess I cannot understand you. It makes perfect sense that the commander removed x amount of cexp from the total. That is what 'cost' means. You are always talking about language and it's importance to be clear. This could not be more clear.

The normal automated response when dismissing a Commander from one's Port is "Commander dismissed". Not "Commander removed". This is a user-interface "bug" which has been confirmed by @MidnightPhoenix07 in his post within the topic that I created weeks ago. https://www.devstrike.net/topic/4876-i-promoted-a-commander-but-the-automated-response-was-that-the-commander-was-removed/?do=findComment&comment=74068 1

Seems petty but MidnightPhoenix is an expert so I'll take his word for it.

You need to go to primary/elementary school and learn some basic reading comprehension. It is a two-word sentence, noun followed by verb. Verb ('removed') is acting on the noun ('Commander') 1
Admiral_Karasu Posted October 2 Posted October 2 @KJ82 is an EU player, but what's the current status of this bug on NA? If it's fixed, we can expect it to get fixed tomorrow on EU and ASIA as well.

It is a two-word sentence, noun followed by verb. Verb ('removed') is acting on the noun ('Commander') I'm guessing that there are language translation programs being used by people. The programmers. The Forum Members. And etc. & etc. There are differences in writing styles and math presentations in European Nations compared with USA, that I'm aware of. I imagine there are some other grammar and math variations that I don't yet know about, depending on the Nation or culture being discussed. So, the "Commander Experience Points" are being "removed" as a cost of promoting the Commander. And the Commander himself/herself will continue to live in a Player's Port. All of this (and perhaps more) might become a recipe for a difference of perception or a "lost in translation" situation, in my understanding.
majmac Posted October 2 Posted October 2 @Wolfswetpaws . I agree with what you say, but if writing in English, then use an English speaker to proofread...

Aethervox Posted October 3 Posted October 3 I'd place that 16 pt Lisboa Cpt on whichever of OPs ships OP likes the most (the T6 or T7)- rather a Seal Club 😁 to leave him on the Hercules.

Currently on the Ipiranga. But doesnt need to be retrained for that now, thats why it saying Hercules. 1
mashed68 Posted October 3 Posted October 3 I have just over a million commander xp waiting for when we can buy the remaining crates to get Lisboa. Sure hope its as soon as the ships come out of special release status. I'll put him on the Los Andes since that ship will get played the most doing reset grinds.
