Hey folks,

I just created a calculator for the upcoming Festive Rewards, it's available on Google Docs. I tested it with some values but it would be appreciated if you gave me feedback in case something's wrong.

I might still have to update it with the final numbers (hopefully they'll remain the same as stated in the devblog).

Welcome to the forum @adosztal.  I took a look at the Festive Rewards calculator on Google Docs, and it looks great.  Great tool for members here to use and give you feedback.

Edit: After downloading, the only thing I had to adjust was the "K" column width to compensate for tokens equal to or above 10,000. Other than that, thanks for the tool!

Looks okay to me and matches the devblog. I think I will be in the market for 71 super containers.

Thanks, I made it wider.

Big Difference with the battlepass or not. For me 23,645 tokens (BP) vs 18,695 (No BP). So it looks like to buy a BP for this event.

My understanding is the 5,000 tokens are on the free BP line + daily login. Paid BP has Pan-American BB perma camo’s and not sure what else.

Correct. The blog post mentions "first progression line":

Additionally, there are more ways to obtain Festive Tokens:

  • First progression line of Event Pass: 4,000 Festive Tokens.
  • Anniversary daily rewards: 1,000 Festive Tokens.

so in theory, if we buy Rochester first, then trade it for another tier 8 100% discount, we get 2 premiums for a price of 1?

Huh?

1) I’m not aware of any trade-in event happening during the anniversary event.

2) If you buy then trade-in your Rochester for another ship, how does that equal 2 premiums? Need to visit your dealership next time I’m in the market for a new truck.

Nice one.

Looks like I will have 45,910 festive tokens on my main account (before factoring in the tokens from the event pass). Plus 4k steel from 20 T11 ships. Won't bother with the Rochester part at all - I have everything on the list and already have 104k steel on hand.

I guess getting the collection completed is my first priority, followed by mediocre containers (bonus being both sets of crates provide oil for my clan). Blue boosters to finish off.

Should be a pretty good haul, throw in another 4200 steel from Superships.

Well it's not a "trade": it's just that the coupon shifts to something else you pick. One of those 2 ships will be the Rochester.

I dont think you get what I am aiming for here. "cheapest solution"

you take 25% discount for premium ships, you buy doublons, you buy yourself Rochester for that amount.

Now, since you have Rochester you collect tokens to get the 100% coupon to get yourself another tier 8 premium from the list, how is that not 1 premium for the price of 2?

This ofc only applies if you have any wish to get Rochester in the first place at all. If you dont then it doesnt matter.

That's 2 ships for the price of...75% of one, if I'm following.

Sure, but when I read "two for one" it sounds like the alternative is "one for one" (or, well, "zero for zero"), not "one for free", as in this case.

Keep in mind that getting Rochester with dubs (plus 25% coupon) and then your pick from the shortlist is only advantageous if that ship is more expensive than Rochester (like Gascogne or Borodino are), otherwise you should get the other ship (say, Loyang) with dubs (plus 25% coupon) and let the Rochester fall in your lap.
