Popular Post HogHammer Posted August 17 Popular Post Posted August 17 Celebrating One Year of DevStrike! The “Unofficial” World of Warships Community Forum August 18th is the first anniversary of the official launch of the DevStrike! forum, a fitting moment to reflect on the remarkable journey of this vibrant community. Since its inception, the forum has not only served as a gathering place for game enthusiasts but also as a dynamic platform for fostering dialogue, sharing knowledge, and strengthening bonds among players. This milestone is a testament to the collective passion and dedication of its members. The DevStrike! forum was established with a clear vision: to create an inclusive and engaging space where all World of Warships players could come together to discuss strategies, share experiences, and explore the game's possibilities. Over the past year, the forum, in many ways, has exceeded these expectations, becoming a hub of activity where players of all skill levels contribute to discussions, offer advice, explore our knowledge base, and support one another. This collaborative spirit has been instrumental in enhancing the game’s experience and has fostered a sense of camaraderie among members. Furthermore, DevStrike! forum has made significant strides in promoting community events and activities, from organized tournaments and challenges to promoting and introducing Twitch streamers from different regions, gathering in-game codes, promoting game-related news, and much more. The forum has been instrumental in providing a platform for members to showcase their talents and engage in shared experiences, as well as a knowledge base for its many guests. These additions to the forum have not only added an extra layer of engagement for its members but have also strengthened the bonds within the community, creating memories and friendships. As we celebrate the first anniversary of the DevStrike! forum, it is important to recognize the contributions of its dedicated members and numerous guests. Your enthusiasm, creativity, and commitment have been the driving force behind the forum's success. Looking ahead, the future of DevStrike! forum is promising, with continued growth and new offerings on the horizon. By embracing the lessons learned over the past year, examining the old forums' strengths and weaknesses, and remaining steadfast in our commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive environment, the forum is well-positioned to continue its role as a de facto cornerstone of the World of Warships community. This first anniversary of the DevStrike! forum marks a significant milestone in our community's journey. Through the dedication of its members and guests to fostering collaboration, facilitating communication, and celebrating member contributions, the forum has become an integral part of the game. As we reflect on the past year, it is clear that DevStrike! has not only achieved its initial goals but has also set perhaps a higher standard for community engagement and support. Here’s to many more years of shared experiences and collective achievements. From the entire DevStrike! staff, we extend a well-deserved thank you to all our members. We could not have done it without you. Our growth facts – The total number of “registered” users is now close to 1,100. Additionally, on a daily basis, the number of guests far outweighs the number of registered users. Registered membership is represented by 56.8 percent of users from the NA server, 34.6 percent from the EU, and 7.8 percent from Asia. To date, DevStrike! has had well over 9 MILLION page views. Access to the forum by device usage is 75.9 percent from a desktop and 24.1 percent from a mobile device. Organic growth (new traffic from web searches) has substantially grown to 60,000 visits per month. This is expected to increase due to a nearly year-long, but now resolved issue with several search engines (Microsoft Bing, Yahoo, etc.) 32 30
desmo_2 Posted August 17 Posted August 17 Well, happy birthday, DevStrike! I shall smoke a rack of baby back ribs and drink some bourbon in honor of the occasion! I hope it is okay that I started both a couple of hours before I knew. I'm deeply wise like that. 10 2 4

Frostbow Posted August 18 Posted August 18 Happy Birthday, DevStrike! 🍻 Perhaps we can already drop the 'unofficial' tag and use one that's more appropriate to the spirit of this Forum. Something more engaging but without the implied limitation of 'unofficial'. 😊 6 3
