Slammer58
So, I've acquired an itch to maybe possibly upgrading my 27-inch flat monitor to a 32 or 34 curved monitor. Pretty sure I've got the horsepower to do it, but looking for input from anyone here who has a 32/34 inch monitor. How does WoWS look/play/feel on a bigger monitor? TIA My PC specs: Intel Core i9-14900K 64GB DDR5 RAM nVidia RTX 4070 TI Super w/16GB vRAM
HogHammer
I sprung for a 34-inch curved monitor about a year and a half ago and absolutely love it. The 4070 should easily be able to handle it. WoWs looks fantastic on it, as do other games. I feel that once you get above 30 inches, a curved monitor is just a little easier on the eyes. What I have is the BenQ EX3410R monitor running at 3440x1440 currently, and I have had ZERO problems with any games played. I'm running pretty much a full AMD build with a Ryzen 9 5900X, RX 7900 XTX, and 32 GB RAM - for WoWs, it is overkill. I_cant_Swim_
Nice rig. I'd be really interested in hearing how a curved monitor works for you on it. ninja'd a bit by @HogHammer ..but, isn't it difficult to follow straight lines? (I know, I'm asking for a friend)

There are some really good monitors in the size range you are considering.
Slammer58
So, I went and done it, and there ain't no going back. WoWS looks great on a big screen. Bought a 34-inch 1500R curved monitor. Price wasn't too bad either. ~$320 for the monitor and extra warranty. (I'm old enough to remember paying lots more than that for a 14-inch? VGA CRT monitor way, way, way back.) I went with a KTC monitor, this particular one. I did get the 3yr extra protection plan, since KTC/Amazon only provides a 30-day refund/replacement. So far, so good. Haven't noticed any dead pixels. Like HogHammer said, research, research, etc. My only complaint, is the stand. I feel like the monitor needs to be raised up 3-4 inches. So I'm looking into either getting a desk mount or something to put under the monitor feet.

Wrap them in Saran-wrap or generic cling-wrap to keep the scrap pieces from shifting around. 🙂
