considering how much signals costs that is a good thing.

As someone who once got 180 days of Premium time, 5000 doubloons, on top of 90 days of Premium time, multiple Premium ships, and some 1000s of extra doubloons... these new breed of SC are far, oh so very far, from being 'Super'.

This exactly.  My first YEAR of premium time was from supercontainers.  So was my Missouri and many others.  Doubloons all over the joint!  Now they are just weak sauce.  I was shocked to see how miserly WG had become.

Now 50 healing flags, or fire reduction flags, those I can get on board with.

Wulf_Ace is absolutely right.  I've gotten some of the absolute dregs of "premium" ships.  They are great insurance to keep you from ever getting them again.

Since September 12, 2017, I have gotten 536 super containers.  12 of them contained steel.  They are indeed rare.

This right here ^^^ is basically how I ended up with gathering every single one of the rare ships over 3 xmas events starting with 2019. Happily gathering up the unpopular (and Meh!) ships to increase my odds of getting the good stuff from Santa.

Dunno, seems like it could be a bit hard to avoid the silly swarm attack of slow weak torps that come from every angle and never stop chasing

I'm not sure what the balans is supposed to be here. I guess it can get smashed by kriegsmarine subs with longer range surveillance?
