Col_NASTY
I'm sure it's in some obscure line of BS text or just some convoluted legal speak of what "is " Means As you can clearly see, Phase 3 is not been completed. Big BOLD warning THIS IS YOUR LAST CHANCE TO PURCHASE! But then CLEARLY in the rules it says this? After FOUR (4) Phases are completed. Phase 3 isn't able to even START to be completed yet PST HMMMMMM 3 5 1
xamdam
Really not even paying attention to this dockyard at all. A tier 6 Nerfenburg (with 10km torps, but slow reload main guns and turret traverse) and a tier 9 HE spamming cruiser (with what sounds like a rather useless "funny button") just doesn't draw my interest. I'll pick up whatever "rewards" come my way during my normal play time but won't be "grinding" anything. 2

Frostbow
WG and their FOMO tactics. 😂 1 hour ago, xamdam said: I'll pick up whatever "rewards" come my way during my normal play time but won't be "grinding" anything. Same with me. "Grinding for a dockyard", and for the most part picking brains here and there to come up with a strat for it is so pathetically overused. These are the same iterative tasks designed to get players playing instead of spending time to fully enjoy the summer, the only difference is the ship that's being built. Normal play will get us the rewards without the pressure and the baggage that comes with "grinding". The mission tasks are really easy and can be completed with tech tree ships. The same with the Wisconsin dockyard, the only task that approaches 'difficult' levels (due to how it is achieved and the amount needed) are the Base XP tasks. And even these can be reliably completed in Operations with a lighthouse build light cruiser, among others. Nothing special, just regular, normal day to day play. 😄

I'm also no longer paying the slightest attention to them apart from occasionally popping in and collect any rewards I might be due. There's just too much effort and micromanagement required and I just don't have the motivation to do that.
palestreamer
Its your last chance to purchase AT A DISCOUNT. 1500 per phase in the starter pack or 2000 per phase later on. You save 1000 doubloons on the two phases if you buy now.

Seems like a clear reason not to spend. 1

After doing so, I could not purchase the 2,000 doubloons starter-pack. 1 hour ago, Daniel_Allan_Clark said: Or I can save 4000 doubloons by not buying any of the phases at all. Nevermore135
The “last chance” message is probably simply programmed to display when the first phase of missions is completed, since in every dockyard the requisite number of stages to disable the ability to purchase the starter packs are earned in phase 2. Captain Slattery
Has the dockyard gotten less insanely grindy? I got the first two phases playing coop. I've taken a look at the later stages and they don't seem too awful bad up until about the 4th or 5th week. I remember the Puerto Rico, what a sh*tshow that was. Last two have been pretty tame, the grind barriers lately have been base xp and potential damage missions.

Since the initial dockyard they have gotten much less intense. The past couple have had 1 week with exceptional base XP requirements, but this one doesn't have it.

Thanks for the quick response, guys. It seemed to be tamed down some since I last took a close look. There seems to be plenty that you can get done just doing coop. A few are actually easier in coop.

There are two, one 45K and one 60K, but both can be done in any ship, neither has a token attached, and the 60K one can be spread across two weeks. I don't consider either of these particular taxing. I was referring to the weeks where you had to complete 30K+ base XP with one ship type, and generally had to do this twice in order to advance progress. The current way is better, hands down.
