Weekend Spree, 9 to 11 August 2024

Streamed on Saturday, completed a mission, got a 6 point weeb captain.

On Sunday, finished the Felix Schultz grind and unlocked the Elbing. I haven't bought her yet because I recently tried her out in the PTS and (a) she's huge for a DD, (b) she's sluggish, (c) her turrets are aft-biased and harder to fire forward with more than one. I'm not entirely sure that she's as good as the Felix. Since buying and equipping her will cost me nearly 24 million credits, I want to be sure about this. More PTS is required.

Also played around a lot with De Zeven Provincien in co-op to try to improve my bomb drops. I think some progress was made.

The plan now is to finish Haarlem, L'Aventurier, Cachalot and Pobeda by the end of the year, and to see if I can get Sansonetti to 21 points at the same time.

Caught up on a lot of work that piled up the week I went out on vacation (mostly caught up.)  Played just enough WoWS to finish the Obon chain, not much more.

Was gone for most of the weekend at the Contemporary Long Rifle Association annual get together in Lexington KY...  A meeting point for all things pre-Civil War and a place where some of the best Rifle builders meet....  Gosh, if you ever wanted a Flintlock or percussion rifle made just for you, visit that show and you'll see some of the finest craftsmen ever assembled whom will gladly build you what ever you want !!!  I can recommend several......

A long trip it was (we drove) and I managed to secure several "bag molds" in the calibers I use....  And, all sorts of other stuff that simply can't be ordered....

Played some ops tonight with the circus and I'm about worn out.....

Wins were hard to come by. Randoms/Paindoms were a struggle all week (and weekend) long, despite grinding Mahan to 108k XP (115k needed to unlock Benson).

Friday was also rough in Ranked Silver. Switched to Lauria for Saturday, which got me back to winning both for Saturday and Sunday.

In EU, our clan won NBs 62 - 35 (I got 9 *s).  Otherwise, a run of Ls (most MM CHEATS) before a few Ws. The MM is (as always) SH*T. NA is the same (SH*T MM).
