Graham Norton is probably the best chat show host in the UK, the list of people he gets to come on the show is quite incredible. Not only do they willingly come on but most of them go back again and again, even people who are famed for not doing chat shows. Anyway the compendium below is some of the best moments over the huge number of shows he has under his belt. John Cleese (not the funniest man on the sofa this time), Keanu Reeves, Whoopi, Jodi Foster, laughing her ass off at a true story from a Brit stand up, Snoop and the Rock, Wolverine and Prof Xavier, Matthew McConaughey and John Cena, Ed Sheeran, Elizabeth Olsen, Jeremy Renner, Mark Ruffalo, Meryl Streep, you get the idea. All of them having fun and more than a few of them with a few drinks under their belt. If you get the chance to watch the show it is worth it.

According to the "trivia" section on the Internet Movie Data-base, The Graham Norton Show moved from BBC2 to BBC1.

Quote

When the show moved from BBC2 and onto BBC1, due to its popularity, one of the few requests from the BBC channel was that the army of Barbie dolls in the background be removed.

I haven't really watched BBC for... close to 30 years or so now.

There's a trick to board breaking. Try it with a sheet of plywood and see how far you get.

Breaking pine boards looks cool.
And, it is worth learning how to do.
That said, the grain of the wood is aligned in a manner that facilitates the breaking (when done properly for demonstrations).

Downward force =________________\/____________________
Wood grain =  IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII<breaking-point>IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII

The wood is much more difficult to "break" if the grain is aligned differently.

Downward breaking force = ________\/________

Plywood takes the concept further, by rotating the grain of the layers of each ply in the plywood.

A few times I've had to walk across makeshift bridges made of either plywood or pine planks at best. In total darkness, about 10 to 15 meters above the ground level (a construction area inside the shell of a building with the floors missing in places), I don't really like to fancy wood breaking all that easily...

We're seeing the cherry-picked video.  The Parrot had a 50% chance of getting it right.  😉
What about a full three-shell game performed by a street hustler?  🙂
(I'm not saying the Parrot wasn't paying attention.  I'm just being a little silly, here.  But, I'm also curious about the full extent of the Parrot's abilities.)

I was in a pet store once where a parrot was hopping around causing mischief. The store owner came over and said "Behave, and I'll bring you some birdseed." When she walked away, the parrot looked right at me and said "Don't want no stupid bird seed" then let out an ear-splitting screech. The owner ran over with a half of an apple, which the parrot happily started eating.
