Found out that it only applies if you buy it through the website... As @Jakob Knight pointed out. Creating a Customer Service ticket and explaining what you want to accomplish will be the best course of action. Just explain what you want to happen and they'll probably be able to find a way to satisfy you. It's been my experience they're reasonable about this sort of thing. If you bought the ship with doubloons, they’ll need to refund the ship (which they won’t do if you’ve played it) and then have you purchase it through the online shop. But assuming you bought one of the ARP ships with cash, as long as the price and included items are the same online (and the coupon can be used on them), they may just take the coupon and credit the doubloons you’d have gotten. 2 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Ive slammed WG lots over the years (but Ive had nothing but +'s from Customer service), all of it deserved IMO. Honestly, they could have replied 'sucks to be you', or something more eloquently stated, and they'd be right but they chose to make the effort to help me. So, it is only right that I publicly thank them for their assistance and resolving something in my favour for a mistake that is clearly 100% my fault. Ive checked my account and I now have an extra 4k dubs in my account. I feel obligated to continue the ticket and inform them of the issue.
