Problem with the running Auction.

I'm not exactly happy with the execution of the latest Auction, every time i try to make a bid, i get an error message. Anyone else having that problem?

Yes, mostly uninteresting or almost unobtainable stuff, unless you are swimming in steel or credits. But i was interested in the coal and premium time, but it doesn't work for me.

The reason why I was surprised is because there's nothing on auction in WGC, there's nothing on auction in the news section on the client. I got the pop up when logging in, same as presumably you did, accessed the auction from armory and tried to place a bid and got the exact same error as you did.

The same. In my case (I think not only in mine) it went even further. It remembered my previous bet for coal in credits, converted it into FXP and said that I had already bet on coal again. And the auction is weak. Coal for FXP? Nah.

Yesterday my "problem" with the Auction was that it had not started, yet.
I could see a countdown timer being displayed, though.
I'll have to check to see what's going-on, today.

Edited to add:
Okay, I just logged-in to the game and was able to see the Auction in my Armory.

I have the same problem, i'm asked if i want to change my bid, despite not having bid yet and unable to do so.

Yeah, you see that, and you can click and place a bid, but can you actually go through with the action or do you get the error?

Okay.  Good point.
That being said...
I saw nothing being auctioned that I was keenly interested in.  So, I have not yet made a bid on an auction item.
Which doesn't provide any new evidence in this topic of discussion.  But also doesn't cost me any of my own resources to pursue the answer.

The Armory is telling me that I bid 222,222,222 fxp on the coal, and that I won already. It's also asking for my bid and suggesting I could change it. I have no idea what's going on, except maybe that number could've been the credits I bid on a previous coal lot.

Basically, I'll check again tomorrow to see if they've fixed it. I'm still not sure I want to trade fxp for coal.

I have same problem. Just enter in the game, saw auction, go there and this where things get akward: it write that I was already bid coal with near 1,5 million fxp??? I have on account 160 000 fxp... 1,5 million fxp I never haven't... try to change - error. Same thing happen with 7 days of premium, but there is already placed bid FAR BELLOW minimum bid (and on account I have commander xp enough for minimum bid)... Also impossible to change. I haven't put that bids which are already put and can't correct that. Haven't clue what is happening, just finish runing check and fix game and problem is stayed...

Having the same issue as well

It's telling me I bid 250 million free xp for the coal but I never placed any bids!

Sounds like WoWs needs to put out a 13.6.2 update.

This looks like some of what I feared would happen with the split, perhaps coming to fruition: The brains & intellectual property rights would stay with Mira Korabli(?), and not only would development of the NA side be stymied, but as normal types of things were to be updated, that they would gradually begin to not work. Or, not work right.

WG automatically placed a bid of 69 million FXP for 50K coal. Is WG crazy? I don't even have 69 million FXP. I can't even change the bid.

There was a bug with at least the coal auction, where it was “remembering” credit bids from last auction but displaying them as fxp bids. Bidding options probably got disabled until it was corrected.

Should be fixed now.

You could do that earlier as well, if you were to hit the orange button it would have failed to go through.

Haven't checked myself yet, but according to KillerBin in the current Twitch stream, it should be fixed.
