Oh that's interesting.

So on this shot.

I lost between 60 and 80 mms of pen.

So instead of doing 100% damage.    I do 0% damage.

 

They try to hide it behind RNG and small tweaks that most can not decern.  But small adjustments can make a huge impact on who wins and loses and they know it.  However if you know it, it really is obvious when they tinker to determine who wins.

This is why i say Welcome to rigged games.

Maybe some of your shots hit water before going into hull and they lost some penetration. Vertical dispersion does it sometimes.
