Regional-exclusive SNK collab and another incoming collab

Abstract: Due to licensing problems, WoWS CN offers a regional-exclusive collab with SNK (The King of Fighters '97 precisely), while recently datamining Test Server client files has indicated an incoming Blue Archive collab.

Due to licensing problems related with the work's main theme and featured contents, WoWS CN has been, and will likely be excluded from any Arpeggio of Blue Steel collab events and items (even though the media franchise may not impress some of the audience due to purely artistic reasons). And with a new management, this time, something else has to be found to take the place of the ARP collab of the Global servers...

And then:

Commanders with special Japanese voiceovers, Kagura Chizuru and Nikaido Benimaru, patches, commemorative flag and an event permacamo for Yamato inspired by KoF '97 and pixel style from the turn of millennium in general.

Even for Chinese gamers this came as a real surprise, and some has argued that this is partly the efforts of 360 (WG's new CN server partner), that they have made a questionnaire survey before on "What nostalgic additional contents would you like to see in World of Warships" with KoF '97 as an available choice, taking the heterogeneous players makeup regarding age in consideration. Even the introduction for the event from the Patch notes article is also written intentionally to provoke nostalgia of amusement arcade gaming more than two decades ago.

And the second part...

Original sources.

Datamining has discovered indications of a future collab event that hasn't even been announced officially. Dataminers have found codes with "Blue Archive", "Blue Archive tokens" and likely 3 more copy-paste premium ships: BA Tirpitz, BA Montana and... BA Takahashi (which makes AL Cheshire seems competitive in comparison), as well as commanders and flags. In addition, for some unknown reasons, BA Takahashi is likely based on the ship's stock hull as there are only code description about the A-hull. However, not being a member of the BA community, I have no further knowledge about the characters that are going to become WoWS ship commanders other than family names.

Much of the following discussion under the original post is discussing about or making fun of the controversial possessive mentality regarding character design prevailing in communities of such games, as well as commenting how WG has been compensating their shortage of "core" content generation capacity with various collabs and other themed contents.

All codes regarding Blue Archive collab has been removed from Public Test Server client, perhaps due to licensing/NDA requirements and/or WG programmers and/or management has found that it would be better to delay the event for at least a month (with the scrapping of already teased Hot Wheels deal back in 2022 I can't take it for guaranteed though).

Promotional art has been available.

All hail the worst T9 premium as well as the most blatant cash grab (that makes AL Cheshire a bargain in contrast) ever...
