Lauria's Jealous

Hey Bob! Guess what? Lauria's jealous that the Ven and the Ricky (San) Martin were having fun after you dressed them up. Now, she wants to be dressed up for the current CB season.  After you dress her up, which flank would you put her in and how would you use her? Please do your magic!

Spotter plane mod is optional but I run it mostly because it's useful in randoms.

 

Lauria is a really fast ship with incredible firepower. She's best used creating pressure on a flank, although she's certainly capable of holding ground. Generally I play mine around the kite flank looking for cross shots or flanking opportunities. I do think she's strictly worse than something like a Vincent for a fast push. I imagine you could see some success with a double BB play on the contest side, with the Lauria more wide to try and get shots on cruisers.

Thanks @BOBTHEBALL @Unlooky ! I actually don't have the Lauria yet but I'm looking to get her as soon as fine myself in the situation where I need to start playing BBs in CB. I have the Bourgogne and I have steel and discount coupon to get a steel ship and nothing else really got my interest.

Well, I'd stoke her boilers to sail her full-speed ahead while wiggling her rudder like a madman as we make our way to the center of the map.
Then we'd weave our way through the opposing ships while stuffing powder & ammo into her breeches and making the tips of her gun-barrels red-hot.
Once our enemies are lying on the ocean floor, I'd bring her wet hull home for a soapy wash-down in preparation for settling her down gently into my drydock for a thorough post-battle inspection and careful maintenance of all her equipment & surface coatings.
