Wisconsin in Coop

I am pleased to report that I am really enjoying the Wisconsin as a humble Coop player. The Missouri has always been one of my favorite ships and the Wisconsin is simply a better version of the Mighty Mo (and hence the Tier X classification). The improved accuracy is so enjoyable and the "Combat Instruction" as to faster reload of the Main Battery and Consumables is proving to be quite a significant benefit. Although I currently only have 23 battles in her she has become my #2 ship for my early morning battles (after the Mecklenburg and now before the Stalingrad). For context please find below my summary stats for this ship:

I hope folks find this information and opinion helpful.

Nice!

How do you have her set up, and with which captain with which skills?

Congrats on getting Wisconsin. Glad you are enjoying it.

I am still lukewarm on it. I do like the funny button for the fast reload and the accuracy is great but I have yet to really have any good games. More consistent games I guess than good. Not bad by any stretch but so far it has not won me over as a regular go to. I actually do pretty much the same stat wise in Rhode Island even though that only has 356MM guns. Missouri will always be played more as it is a go to for credit tasks and such.

Only 14 games so far in it. Just don't play it much. I actually have not gone with a secondary build on it. Went with my standard non-secondary US BB build.

  • 14 Games (100% W)
  • 101,593 Avg Damage
  • 173,774
  • Most Kills 3

One thing I find odd is the AA doesn't seem very good even in Co-op? Just seems to struggle to shoot them down which makes no sense. It should be an AA beast (at least in Co-op). Same basic AA as Vermont which shreds stuff.

Interesting as to your comment as to the AA as I have yet to see it really shred bot planes, for example, like the Ohio. However, I really have not had much chance to run down a carrier and fend off waves of planes over a multi-minute period. I am looking forward to getting the Rhode Island in another week or so as it looks really good.

Thanks as always for your insights.
