yss_turtleship
So she wants to be dressed up for the CB party, too. You did such a great job for the Ven, what would you recommend for the San Martin, Bob? Just like before I consulted you, the skills on this commander are based on Yurra and company's G doc.

I don't know what Yurra chose for his San martin build, however this is what I would run on my build. I also have absolutely no idea who Company G is. You want to maximize consumable duration and reducing the reload time. Also San Martin in CB would mostly play alive on a flank just being a cockroach and trying to survive as much as possible so you'd take outnumbered there. If you have any questions please reach out. Remember that Yurra's Google doc is for Random Battle stat farming, not about win maximization in a team setting. Unless your strat has a DD in front of you with RPF, you will need to run it on your San Martin. Otherwise you will be completely blind to the rotations that the enemy team is making. 1

I forgot that Randoms would be the general focus of that doc. Thanks for the reminder. I usually customize the recommendations to how it would fit me and the situation I normally play the ship in. Having the doc and the comments I receive in my posts really helps me with kitting my ship out.
yss_turtleship
I've taken both Bob's and Torino's recommendations and did this. What do you guys think?
yss_turtleship
Would it be ok to use this setup instead? I like having a little bit of a warning when I'm getting shot from across the board.

Much more important would be SE.

Also SE is important so swap RPF for SE and GTG/Consumables
Unlooky
I'll point out that if you run San Martin in CB on the kite flank it's entirely possible to simply pair her with a DD running RPF. Best of both worlds that way.

I was looking for CB-related videos recently and found a video from season 2. The interesting thing I learned was that at the end of that season, WG handed out free retraining for a week. I think they should do that at the beginning and the end of every CB season. Of course, it probably won't be as beneficial to those with many commanders, but it may help those at the very start of their CB journey.

Best of both worlds that way. It depends on what the shot-caller is having the player do. If there are any scenarios where the Martin has no DD cover, then RPF is quasi mandatory. Too easy to lose track of the unseen flow of battle without it. Not to mention that Martin already has all the firepower it needs, so a little more DPM (TGG) or accuracy (Outnumbered) makes little difference. Free information on the enemy team is always valuable, you just need to understand how to read it.
