For Father's Day in WoWS, I saw more Ws than Ls so that's good & I had some pleasant divisioning & doing some NBs (that is close between the 2 clans, atm, & unknown if I can do 3 more there as there has been a major disconnect, apparently).

An odd time for this maintenance - on a Sunday? 11pm/12 am in EU & 3pm to 6pm for NA. Very bad time to be doing this whether announced days ago or not. WG might have split these times better & scheduled this for the night time (well after midnight) hours. Sheesh 😒.

Unfortunately it's not just a 3 hour maintenance but a 6.5 hour maintenance...it will last until 9:00 PM PDT & midnight EDT...

Then after it comes back up all sorts of things will still not work for many hours afterwards.

As for the convenience factor...it is happening on all servers at once so it's set for convenience in their time zone...not ours.

BTW...Happy Father's Day to all the fathers out there.

But it does seem odd to schedule this for Father's Day... I'm sure a lot of father's children have moved out (especially considering the average age of players of this game compared to most other games) & they'd like to be playing ships today.

It's impossible to schedule night for everybody. Apparently EU has by far the largest active player base during that time, so EU night got picked.

Yes, over 20K at busy times whereas NA has 10K or so. I play on both. (I'm a NA refugee over there, lol)
