Ensign Cthulhu
Here is the "come-hither" dross (IMHO) that WG is offering: Here (picture from a business card my wife commissioned some time ago) is what I would prefer. Do you notice the difference?
Frostbow
Just stop. This is at least the fourth time that you talk/post/comment about these commanders. They must have sexually aroused you in such a way that it pushed you to spend time and effort denigrating them.

Do you notice the difference? "Do you notice the difference?" One is blonde. Two are brunettes. They're all wearing bikini swimsuits. Apparently I fail to notice the significant difference(s)? 🙂

Wolfswetpaws
I have just welcomed the two "Summer Festival" event Commanders to my Port. Namely... Commander Federica Estival (10 skill points, pre-existing affinity for the Pan-American Tier-1 Cruiser Hercules) and Commander Martina Verano (10 skill points, and a pre-existing affinity for the Spanish Tier-1 Cruiser Jupiter). https://worldofwarships.com/en/news/sales-and-events/summer-festival-in-the-armory/ Edited June 13 by Wolfswetpaws

Taylor3006
I find this stuff like I do that cartoon/anime stuff. I personally don't care for it but glad it is in the game for those that do like that kind of crap. I can hide all of it so it is no skin off my nose so I don't have to look at it. What I would prefer is a choice. Being a consumer, I find the lack of choices with these kinds of events, disturbing. We have the mechanic in the game and it is used infrequently with crap that does not matter. Not sure why Wargaming is so intent on not allowing a choice between comic book content and historical/historical adjacent content. They could do the same thing with those weird camos they seem to like making but they don't. Overall it just makes it seem like they don't care or lack empathy with their customers. Maybe they are just painfully stupid, hard to know for certain. Could be all those things. Edited June 13 by Taylor3006

Literally just leaving money on the table for no good reason and it would appeal to the entire player base. People who like the cartoon stuff are happy and the people who don't like it are happy. Just do not see a downside... On a totally unrelated note, maybe it was the fluoride in water that made people stupid after all...

Don't be jealous. Go get yer own. 🙂 Perhaps they also dabble in meteorology, in addition to wearing underwater demolition team uniforms? The human body should be considered a work of art. There should be no awkwardness, shame or anxiety about the nude human form or one wearing a bikini. Yet some people persist in feeling upset about imagery which would be perfectly legal at every public beach that I'm aware of. Body-shaming is the opposite of empowerment, in my opinion. I feel that we should be able to treat people, and pixel versions of people, with dignity and serenity. 🙂

Bomont
I'm honestly quite curious how this can be so bothersome that you complain about it on multiple threads, yet apparently the anime girls do not bother you? Personally, if I wanted to be offended by something like this, I'd be far more offended by the anime captains. But captains are largely ignorable in this game unless they have a red dot showing that there are skill points that need to be assigned. I'd rather have all of the captains in historical (or reasonable facsimiles of) military uniforms. Have there ever been any women captains in actual, realistic naval uniforms in this game? The Dasha captains are are probably the closest with historical costumes but they aren't anything close to a naval uniform. Which is why they aren't that appealing to me. I haven't heard the voiceovers for these new captains (I think I read they have unique voiceovers), but they can't be as annoying as the anime girls. However, some people like them and why should I care? I don't see the captains other people are using. I have numerous captains whose portraits don't appeal to me but they have more skill points than others so I use them.
