The last double strike arrived some 0.5s after I got sunk by DD torp, while I was finishing off the CV.

  I haven't gotten one of those in a while.  Does the sound effect still sound like the needle scratching across a vinyl album?

Here it is. Disclaimer: it was my first match today and I woke up 1 hour prior, so I looked clumsy. Not to mention it's my 3rd game with Auckland (base hull) so I haven't got used to the handling.

I find that AA ship Maine gets CV matchmaking. And after the carrier loses their first planes they get angry at your impertinence and never stop going for you.

I watched the replay. You got lucky. Their CV sure tried to get you.  & such salty language by your team mate - is this common in Asia server? 

 I do not recall ever getting two double strikes in one battle. That has to be very rare.

Yeah, I think most Double Strikes are due to luck, barring some giga-brained ones out there 😂. The improved ASW certainly helped a lot, and I barely got that last DD considering the slow turret traverse.

Yeah, what's with the CV locking in on me early on. Between that and the agressive Scharny, I got pretty frustrated and played passively, doesn't help that I had just woken up. Normally I shouldn't be able to eat the CV with this boat and its pitiful AA, I did notice the Yorktown not being very efficient with their strikes (slow turn after take off, clumsy drops) when I pushed them, panicking perhaps?

Actually not really. If yes then most of the time they speak in languages that my game is unable to display. This sub player is quite an exception, first time in my 6000 games being called out by name too.

It's rare that a CV goes after me when I play an AA boat (Huanghe, Kii, Cheshire, Mino, Dutch CAs); but I find it utterly hilarious when I escort a pushing BB and repeatedly shut the CV down when they try to make a play
