After playing the Schlieffen, Mecklenburg, and the GK, I tried a non-German battleship in Asymmetric Battle, the Montana, and immediately remembered how good her 406mm American Piercing Rounds are.

The battleship can even do some torpedo beats. LOL

I had a really good run in my Iowa yesterday. I also find the Bourgogne to be a very good ship for asymmetric battles as well: fast, good ROF, and you can flank the bots fairly easily.

Full secondary Tirpitz is pretty effective as well economically in asymmetrical battles as the Tirpitz belongs to that small group of Premium ships that have "extra economic bonus", like Alabama & Black, the Loyang and the Blyskavika, among others are in this group. but full secondary Tirpiz rewards well economically and is great for training German captains for this very reason.

Could you tell me more about what you mean by this?

OK well some of the premium ships have a higher payout on economic stuff like XP. credits, and Capt XP, than do other premiums. if you go tothe  armory and go look at all the premium ships you can get. some for steel some for coal. ect ect there is a tab there that says "Enhanced Credit Income" all the ships in this category pay more. and if you set up a ship with full secondaries that's on this list, of which the Tirpitz is one of those you will be pleased with the outcome compared to a ship that is not in this category. I just happen to own the Tirpitz.  Hope that helps

The amount a premium ship gives you depends on it's tier.

This is the closest I could find, it's from 2020 the only real change is that tier 10s now have a reduced credit cost irrc. It's not dependant on the ship at all, it's dependent on the tier.

yes i agree completely it also depends on tier but there is a difference between the premium ships in this category and the one NOT in this category. try it out, share your results.  not all premium ships pay the same, some have extra economic bonuses.  my full secondary Massachusetts will not even come close to the pay from my tirpitz, the Alabama shares the bonus but terrible secondaries. ect ect.

I see what you posted and it seems ligit. but also I've been absent since the whole CV "SKY CANCER" event ab few years ago and only been back a month or so. I am not god's gift to WOWS by any means. ha ha  I see that they changed how most economical bonuses used to be tied to camouflage and seems not to be so much so anymore? maybe this  a newer change? Either way when I left all bonusses seems tied to camoflage, and now it don't seem so anymore. maybe this is how they changed it?? Who knows.

Good Luck, Have Fun. Don't Die  lol

Cheers!

Before the economic rework there were camos that gave more bonuses, buying them today will not give the additional bonuses, but if you had them before they permanently stayed on your premium ship. So it's not entirely wrong to say that there is a difference within tier, but this is accounted for inside that graphic, and they are pretty much applicable only to the old owners who had those camos. Today this no longer really applies.

This more has to do with how well you perform in a specific ship, not down to economic bonuses themselves. For purposes of fair comparison, we do not usually take the ship itself into account when judging credit earning, thus a comparison would be more tier-to-tier than within a tier itself. However, there is a point that more consistent or stronger ships will tend to earn more, though this is due to the ships themselves and not any particular detail in the economic bonuses. For example, you could say that Azuma may be more consistent than, say, Tulsa as it is a farming ship and relatively easy to do well in, thus giving you good credit scores more often, but she does not earn more per se assuming equal match performance. Also partly because nowadays all bonuses are standardised, such as getting Missouri nowadays which would not give the additional credit boost.

Yes That makes sense, I was just coming back in here after some reflection overnight,  to change my original observation to say I seem to do rather well in Germain style Battleships that are of the full strong secondary builds including Captain skills "given My play style  which such ships. " along with something about premium ships maybe differing only in credit pay, but never considered your observation, I've been absent since the whole sky cancer "CV REWORK" episode. I've just recently come back in the fold, I'm finding some new game mechanics to digest lol. with the exception of the  Sharny43,  All my ships are of the Pre Sky Cancer ERA  😎

Good Show!  now if only my aim can comeback to what it once was, practice, practice, practice.....  lol

As much fun as all the secondary ships are in this mode and the huge numbers they bring with them, I’ve found Montana to be the most satisfying to play. She’s literally one devstrike after another…and that’s the most satisfying aspect of this game IMO, well tied with ninja DD torp play.
