Noticing that I was hoisting neither the Jolly Roger nor the national flag on Los Andes, which is probably why I was having such a horrendous WR with her (currently at 40% in 20 battles). The moment I put both of them, four wins in a row ensued, the icing on the cake being the last one:

I guess I could call this an achievement.  215K of damage and not one kill..LOL.

 

That said, I could have scored a kill (and added a good number to my damage score).  A CA on our team arranged a marriage with the CV, a mutual decision as the game was long lost by the reds and the CV offered up the marriage to anyone needing a CV kill.  The CV was dead in my sights broadside for a multi cit salvo...but I held fire and allowed the marriage...which was successfully consummated.  To be fair, the CV could have stayed hidden and let the score hit 1000 on a loss.  But he exposed himself to assist the marriage, and I'd given our CA my blessing.

It would have been bad form on multiple levels to take a shot.  Albeit, everyone else on my team seemed to be unloading on the CV (either because they don't like such marriages or they simply didn't see the chat).  I was somewhat entertained in the angst that our team might kill the CV before our CA made contact. 

If you look at that end game pic, the little blur on the horizon directly in front of my ship are the remnants of the couple.

@Verblonde It truly is - just now I got my very own non-healing T8 DD dreadnought, but it was in a torp dd (the Yukikaze, which is a Kagero with 8km torps). It also happened to end in a duel with a Cossack and I only barely won it because my friendly Hipper had finally decided to return from the border after making a leisurely stroll through the buff pick up points.

Final "Ranked Silver" battle in this sprint... all 21 victories done for MAX reward... nice ending battle with 9 citadels and 2 kills vs 2 enemy BBs... 🙂

Was nearly over-run and sunk on a few occasions.

Grind towards Libertad completed and ship acquired, just neither equipped nor tried yet.

Los Andes is right now the T9 tech tree ship that IMO not only breaks with the notion of being a stinker progression-wise (Yugumo is another one, for example) but does it so thoroughly that she even goes all the way to the definition of OPness -so fitting it's almost tailor made-. The nerf hammer is going to fall hard and fast on her, I'm afraid, and I fear it won't correct the right parameters but make her dull. It's funny that I considered her jinxed at the beginning, but it was only a matter of having forgotten about little details -you know, the kind of thing that really upsets the ladies, to put it mildly-. Once that was solved, she went from slightly over 25% WR at 15 battles, to 40% between 20 and 30, to just passing 50% at 40, to this:

Her two matches today, although not as memorable as the others I've already posted, even resulted in getting +3 karma.
